New Beginnings

New Beginnings

She hissed and backed away.  Lost in her meal of blood she hadn’t noticed the priest take her wrist in his mouth and clamp down as well.  Her anger quickly turned to that of amusement and then laughter followed.
Jacob wiped the blood from his mouth in a frenzy of disgust and fear.  She watched as his mouth steamed as her blood scorched his flesh.  He howled in pain and Cathlina squealed and clapped her hands.  She turned as she felt someone grasp her shoulders.
Giuseppe stood grinning at her and she flung her arms around him.  He nuzzled her neck as his hands ran through her hair.  He kissed her gently on the lips.  “I woke up and you were gone.” He stated to her.
He stood there and glanced at the priest heaped in a moaning pile on the ground completely having had a complete lack of awareness of all the noise.
Cathlina stepped back only a few inches and stepped over the priest followed by Giuseppe.  “Were you able to find it?”  He asked as they made their way to the pew.
“Yes.” She replied reaching down by the corpse of the baby and pulling up an amulet of the eye of Ra, an Egyptian symbol representing the civilizations sun god.
Giuseppe looked down at the decaying corpse and then quizzically back at Cathlina.  He cocked one eyebrow at her. “Do I want to know what happened to this one?” He asked.
“Ehhh.”  Cathlina bellowed and shrug her shoulders.  “The skin was far too cold.  It was like touching a block of ice.”
Giuseppe lifted up her chin to him and kissed her lips.  “My love, I do not like them anymore than you do, but we have to have a vessel for the ritual.  We have to have a fresh vessel.”
“We can steal one.” Cathlina crossed her arms in annoyance.
Giuseppe laughed a bit.  “You know we cannot do that.  Far too many impurities cara mia.”
“It was too cold.” Cathlina insisted
“No, it was not.  You have so much of within you that the heat from you makes everything else living cool to the touch.”  He argued pointing out the obvious.
“It is because I am part human.  That alone is an imperfection.” Cathlina bent down to observe the deteriorating priest whose flesh had begun to boil slowly.
Giuseppe lifted her back up.  “If it weren’t for your humanity you wouldn’t have been able to summon me so many centuries ago. Since, I have sought you from life to life.  We are bound Cathlina, and you will do as I command you too.  I never make demands of you, but this I did, and will continue.  You will stop hiding the births from me.  Do you hear me?!” He growled.
Cathlina stood on her toes and never wavered as she stared at Giuseppe.  Her eyes flames of jade fire.  “I do not want these things within me.  They bring me constant irritations and no rest within my belly.  They have such a pungent horrid smell!  Why is this place in need of a new species?  If you want one so very badly then go find another to bear them!”  She turned on her heel.
A condescending smile played across Giuseppe’s face.  He took her wrist in his and turned Cathlina to him.  “You are as stubborn and hot headed as always you have been Cathlina.  I am starting to get very cross with you.  This is to be our realm, our world!  This is the power I crave and I know you do as well. I did not strive or work as hard as I have all these millennia to see forgotten deities take every bit of glory in war and chaos and in end up obscure, forgotten and in dignified in humanities mockery of what my race truly is!”  Giuseppe’s eyes were red with anger.
Cathlina calmed and gazed down at the priest below her.  He was hunched over, crumpled, and lying motionless on the floor.  She kicked lightly at the heap and probed around the robes a bit with her foot.  No movement, damn.
“Every god and demi god in every dimension I will call forth from the places in which they lay.  Every human will know of us and they will serve us or they will perish.  With so many to worship me there will be nothing to keep me from destroying every pantheon that ever was given they acknowledge me as supreme ruler…” he turned her face toward him… “..and you as my most perfect Goddess.”  He finished
Cathlina sighed and grimaced.  “Very well.”  She mumbled
Giuseppe reached out and pulled Cathlina closer to him.  “I’ll tell you what.  It doesn’t need to be even thought of until I have every one of these amulets containing its corresponding deity. When the gods have fallen and are kneeling before me, then my queen, I will take you before them all and fill you with my seed ushering in a new era.  A new race of perfect beings with untold powers of pain, tortures, and wonders that will take your breath away.  Rivers will flow with blood, and temples erected from bone in our honor.”  He gazed at Cathlina who was smirking at the thoughts he was bringing to her.  “Will that suffice for you? It had better.  I would hate to have to destroy you and search for you again when I have accomplished the majority of this.”
Cathlina had a momentary look of disdain on her face, which quickly vanished.  She circled Giuseppe like a cat would circle a mouse.  She ran her fingers up his arms and slid her tongue up the back of his neck and nipped at the flesh causing a small trickle of blood to trail down.  She kissed the blood and sucked the small flow into her lips.  She could feel her demon shudder under her kiss, her touch.  “If you were to that then what mortal would be able to withstand your lust?  If they did live, which I highly doubt, would they be able to satisfy your desires in every way?”  She whispered into his ear.  “Even then what could you offer another female when it’s done other than her eternal death and a lingering, increasing pain within yourself racked with the only guilt you could ever know.  My love, we are bonded, you made sure of that.  Sealed in blood, your true name imprinted on my soul, and my image engraved within the very heart that beats within you.”
Giuseppe growled low and steady his gaze focused on the altar ahead of him.  The knowledge of her words were all too real, more truth had they held then anything he could ever witness with his own eyes, or feel with his own flesh.  He turned his focus to Cathlina who was holding her arms out.
“You are the only one who could kill me love.  Go ahead, tear my heart out.  Rip it from my chest.  Let me ask you how many times have you before?  Did I cry out?  How much torment did you feel from it all?  Go ahead.”  Cathlina walked upon Giuseppe who was losing all control at maintaining a human form.
Rows of teeth extended down and his jaw grew to accommodate them.  Horns massive and curling grew from the sides of his head, his flesh reddened with the heat that emanated from the very hell fire he had always been so accustomed to.   His body thickened and spines sharp as razors protruded from every vertebra and yet he stood tall and did not hunch.  Two smaller horns protruded from his exaggerated cheek bones.  His eyes grew big and pitch black and he licked his lips and his tongue was long and massive.  His stare fixated on Cathlina and the howl turned into a low rumble.  Quickly he realized that Cathlina had a hold of one of his massive hands claws aimed at her chest.  He could smell the blood that came from the shallow piercings his claws made.  He pulled his hand from her grasp and came up on her towering over Cathlina.
“Witch!” He stormed.  He cricked his neck and moved as his bones cracked.  How wonderful he thought to be unconfined to that human form.  “This is my will this time!  Not yours alone!”
Cathlina fell backward and held herself up on her elbows and the demon knelt down over her.  She had an utter look of agitation on her face.
“Woman I will chain you to a wall and there you will stay until I have what I require!” he bellowed.
Cathlina focused her gaze on the demon and he could feel himself start to rise off of her and be pushed away from unknown energy.  She pushed the demon away and he flew a short distance from her before his massive frame caused his to stop before he hit the far wall.  Cathlina jumped up and took a tall stance and chanted under her breath her gaze never moving.
He laughed deep.  “You still really think you can hold me with your spells my little darkling?”  The demon broke through the wall she had cast around him and he came at her.  He picked her up and held her closer to him, his breath on her neck.
She wrinkled up her nose.  “You forget that your very blood harnesses my own powers.”  She closed her eyes and her flesh turned temporarily blue and frigid cold.
He dropped her spitting curses around him.  It only took a matter of seconds for his heat to blaze again from his hands. The demon momentarily lost focus and didn’t see Cathlina come at him throwing him full force into the wall behind him.  He crashed though it like paper bringing down that part of convent. He came back through popping his neck again.
Cathlina stood poised as the demon came at her.  He swiped his hand at her belly causing deep gashes which pooled blood from torn fabric.  Cathlina rubbed her hand along the wounds coating it in blood.  Grinning, she held her hand out to the demon.
He growled as the scent filled his nostrils causing him to weaken just a bit.  He lost focus for a moment and Cathlina jumped on him from the front.  He instinctively cradled her ass in his hands and she brought her mouth on his shoulder and sank her teeth in and ripped a large chunk of flesh from him. Before he could drop her she tore more flesh from his neck.  He reached to her stomach.  “Fuck!” he thought “Already healed!”
The demon opened his mouth with his rows of dagger like teeth he came down hard on Cathlina’s shoulder.  Blood flowed from the wound as he removed his mouth, he panted heavily.  The wounds on his neck and shoulder already healed.
Cathlina slid down out of his grasp and crumpled to her knees and sat there hunched over.  Blood was pouring from her shoulder.  She was losing massive amounts of it.  She just sat there quiet.  Not a movement came from her, he couldn’t even hear her breathing, but could see her shoulders rise and fall.
“Heal yourself!” He howled at her. “God damn it!  Now!”  He knelt down in front of her and held both of her shoulders in his massive hands.
She reached out with her hand and gripped his cock.  She stroked it lightly and his demeanor lightened.
The demon was relaxing and his harsh massive features were turning back into their softer humanistic look.  The horns receded, the spines descended back into the spinal column, his skin turned back light olive, his hair remained long, his jaw shrunk and he regained his human form.  He reached out and ran his fingers through Cathlina’s hair as she worked on him. The wound he had inflicted was completely gone save for the stain of blood on her neck and shoulder.  He bent down and quickly licked from her what he could.
He looked around and noticed that the convent had been completely demolished.  He uttered forth a small laugh and then a moan escaped him as he felt his body release and relax into temporary bliss.
Cathlina looked up at Giuseppe and a wicked smile played across her face.  She wiped her mouth with her hand then on her pants.  She looked at Giuseppe.  “When the deities are kneeling.” She stated.
They had left the convent in ruins Jacob remembered.  He had died, he had felt it, and then he was alive again.  Lying in his bed he remembered it all.  Over 50 years ago and he had aged perhaps two years.  Though he had disgraced and cursed the name of God, he had seen fit to give him a new life.  That alone was what miracles where made of.  He was a living miracle.
He had been searching for them ever since.  Every minute of every day he spent searching.  Visions of Cathlina filled him; she was, in essence, his obsession.   He had heard every plan, every bit of everything they had to say.  It didn’t make much sense even after so many years.
Jacob looked over at the clock, 3:30 a.m.  He lay back down and rolled over.  He had slain maybe 20 demonic entities and still his search was not complete.  God gave him this new life, and he was bound to destroy that which desecrated his name.
